We are currently looking for a Structural Engineer to join our vertical structures team.

This role will be based in our office, but we embrace a hybrid work model, allowing you to create your ideal workspace. Let’s collaborate to shape your career and future together.

Key Responsibilities
Under the guidance of a project manager, the structural engineer will undertake various structural engineering tasks on multi-disciplinary projects across the region. Responsibilities may include conducting independent field investigations, performing building assessments, and designing and specifying structural systems for new constructions and renovations. Essential skills will encompass drafting (using AutoCAD and Revit), structural analysis, contractor submittal review, and site visits to document existing conditions throughout the construction process. Mentoring junior staff and collaborating with other trades will be integral to most projects.

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering; a master's degree in structural engineering is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, with consulting experience being advantageous.
  • EIT certification is mandatory; PE certification is preferred or the ability to obtain it within two years.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in design and drafting with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Familiarity with concrete, steel, and timber design is preferred.
