Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, offering expertise on a range of structural engineering initiatives, including the assessment, troubleshooting, and rehabilitation of existing structures, as well as the design and detailing of new systems.
  • Manage projects effectively, which includes developing client relationships, defining project scopes, assembling and leading appropriate teams, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets while managing client expectations.
  • Contribute to the overall objectives of the company through mentorship and active participation in research and development efforts.
  • Oversee the bidding process for both public and private projects.
  • Conduct construction administration tasks, including site visits and addressing any challenges that may arise during the construction phase.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations by enforcing adherence to standards and advising management on necessary actions.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in the structural engineering field.
  • Proficient in the investigation, design, analysis, and repair of various structural materials, including wood, concrete, steel, and masonry.
  • Possession of a PE or SE license is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil/structural engineering or a related discipline.
  • Strong technical, graphical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
