POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the guidance of the Venue Manager, the Bartender will ensure smooth and courteous food and beverage operations. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, delivering knowledgeable service, and maintaining a positive atmosphere. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and adhere to all beverage service and food handling regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor guest intoxication levels and ensure responsible service.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
  • Inform guests about current bar promotions and suggest menu items.
  • Restock bar supplies, including beverages and garnishes.
  • Notify management when inventory is low.
  • Provide full bar service, including a variety of drinks.
  • Keep bar and lounge areas clean and organized.
  • Ensure all bar equipment is properly maintained.
  • Accurately record sales transactions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly demeanor.
  • Document any discrepancies in inventory for management review.
  • Prepare the bar area for service before opening.
  • Safeguard all bar supplies and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Change kegs as needed and report any issues.
  • Conduct opening inventory checks and note any discrepancies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and foster a respectful workplace.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of food and beverage laws and regulations.
  • Minimum of 6 months bartending experience; ABLE License required.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Willingness to assist colleagues and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
