We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at US Foods, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $95,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve annual sales plans;
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with cross-functional teams, including operations, purchasing, and accounting;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner;
  • Attending sales meetings, training sessions, food shows, and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices;
  • Setting up and supporting the rollout of new accounts as assigned;
  • Reviewing all accounts to ensure program compliance, develop unique sales approaches, identify needs, and expand sales.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years of sales or distribution experience, preferably in the foodservice industry;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities;
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and negotiation skills;
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel;
  • A bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, preferred.
