Job Brief

As a key member of the Dyno Nobel team, the Maintenance Planning Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards and procedures for work planning and scheduling. This role involves regular communication and coordination with Operations for the execution of weekly work schedules and larger outages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective work planning and scheduling procedures to ensure efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with Operations to ensure seamless execution of weekly work schedules and larger outages.
  • Work with contractors to ensure successful completion of work tasks.
  • Maintain and prioritize the outage schedule and area backlogs.
  • Organize outage preparation work and facilitate outage planning.
  • Manage the reliability outage database and collaborate closely with the Reliability Group.
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for complex maintenance activities.
  • Utilize IPL Scheduling tools and processes.
  • Support business improvement initiatives and ensure participation across all areas of responsibility.
  • Enhance plant reliability through the disciplined application of Daily Management System (DMS) principles.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in a plant-based role (preferably in chemical manufacturing) is preferred but not essential.
  • Extensive technical expertise with a focus on sustainable and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with proven ability to coach, educate, and motivate.
  • Must be able to successfully obtain a TWIC card.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
