The Marketing and Sales Support Specialist role is a distinctive position that assists our Sales team within the Cattle Feeding sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Support essential functions that enhance sales productivity, including but not limited to organizing meetings and trade exhibitions, creating marketing materials, and serving as a liaison between the business and key accounts.
Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the sales organization’s objectives and priorities are met.
This role necessitates expertise in animal husbandry, particularly in the livestock feeding sector.Specific Duties Include:
- Planning, coordinating, and executing conferences, trade shows, and corporate events, which involves managing logistics, overseeing trade show participation, budget management, and related tasks; providing stakeholders with reports and insights about events.
- Acting as a liaison between the business and strategic accounts, preparing reports, maintaining territory lists, updating product images and descriptions, and actively engaging in strategic account events.
- Engaging in strategic account management, which includes generating reports, maintaining territory lists, collaborating with key stakeholders on pricing contracts, preparing customer quotes, and assisting other account managers and the sales team as needed.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product offerings, including customer workflows and usability.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in animal science or a related field, or equivalent experience (four years) in livestock feeding, with at least two (2) years of sales experience.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate sound decision-making skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to identify, analyze, and recommend effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the animal health industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SAP and SAP BW, along with other business systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Comprehensive understanding of various sales and marketing strategies.
