We are seeking a highly qualified tenure-eligible Associate/Full Professor to join our faculty at the Georgetown University School of Nursing (GUSON). As a key member of our academic team, you will contribute to the advancement of nursing science through research and scholarship, teach and advise graduate and undergraduate students, and engage in community and professional service.
Responsibilities- Research and Scholarship: Contribute to the development of a well-defined area of research and scholarship, with a focus on advancing nursing science and improving patient outcomes.
- Teaching and Advising: Teach and advise graduate and undergraduate students, and participate in the development and evaluation of nursing curricula.
- Service and Leadership: Engage in community and professional service, and participate in GUSON governance activities.
- Education: Earned Doctorate (PhD or equivalent) in Nursing or a related field.
- Experience: Eligibility for RN licensure in the District of Columbia (DC), and ability to meet criteria for appointment as a professor or associate professor with tenure at GUSON.
- Research and Scholarship: An active body of scholarship and research consistent with tenure track expectations for the eligible rank, including an active program of externally funded research as a principal investigator.
