Faculty Positions in Pain Medicine

The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates (MFA) is seeking full-time faculty positions in pain medicine. As an independent, non-profit, academic clinical practice group, we offer a comprehensive clinical care experience to out-patients in Washington, DC, and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities include clinical practice at the GW Interventional Pain Medicine clinic, teaching fellows, residents, and students, and participating in administrative duties and scholarly activities.
Eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia is required. Appointment to these full-time, non-tenure track academic positions will be made at an academic rank (assistant professor, associate professor, full professor) commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical practice at the GW Interventional Pain Medicine clinic
- Teaching fellows, residents, and students
- Participating in administrative duties and scholarly activities
Requirements:
- Board certification or board eligibility in pain medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties from any of the accepted core specialties
- Eligibility for licensure in the District of Columbia
