Job Summary:

The College of Nursing at Washington State University (WSU) invites applications for a permanent full-time tenured/tenure-track position in the Nursing and Systems Science Department at the Associate or Full Professor level. A successful candidate will have a current and active program of funded research, as well as clinical trials expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Divide working time between research, teaching, and service.
  • Publish research in peer-reviewed journals, acquire research grants, and advise students and postdocs in research.

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current and active program of funded research, including clinical trials expertise.
  • Strong commitment to building a world-class research and training program.
  • Commitment to teaching excellence at both undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as diversifying the student body.
  • Experience with technology and teaching online courses.

Additional Required Qualifications:

  • At least six years of experience at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
  • National reputation in the field of study.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid nursing license in Washington or a comparable credential.
  • Demonstrated experience/expertise in clinical trials.
