The Cruise Web, Inc. is seeking experienced sales professionals with a background in the cruise travel sector for an exciting full-time remote opportunity.

As a Cruise Sales Team Leader, you will oversee a dedicated sales team comprising yourself and two Sales Assistants. Your primary responsibilities will include closing sales, surpassing sales targets, and expanding a profitable portfolio of clients. You will be supported by two Sales Assistants who will help you concentrate on achieving sales goals.

In the role of Cruise Sales Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Employing effective time management to engage with prospective travelers, researching optimal itineraries, and booking exceptional cruise and land vacations.
  • Following up with clients who have booked to enhance their reservations with air travel, insurance, accommodations, pre/post packages, shore excursions, and more.
  • Responding to cruise inquiries generated from our industry-leading website.
  • Reconnecting with previous guests to arrange new cruise and land travel experiences.
  • Utilizing consultative sales techniques to comprehend and deliver tailored recommendations.
  • Researching and developing personalized travel solutions using both online and offline resources.
  • Achieving and exceeding team objectives, including performance metrics and activity levels.
  • Effectively managing your time to meet daily sales targets.
  • Documenting ongoing sales activities through Salesforce.
  • Leveraging your two dedicated Sales Assistants to surpass your sales goals.

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in selling cruises and/or travel products.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in a team-oriented sales environment.
  • Proficiency in using cruise line booking systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including word processing and web navigation.
  • Experience with CRM systems for documenting daily calls and activities (Salesforce experience is a plus).
  • Excellent organizational and self-motivation skills.
  • A proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience in selling solutions or services over the phone.
  • Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends.
  • A suitable home office setup, including a quiet workspace, functional computer, and reliable internet connection.
