ImagingWorks is an innovative job training program designed to prepare individuals for rewarding careers in medical imaging. This entry-level program spans over 12 weeks and offers participants the opportunity to earn while they learn, gaining valuable experience at various clinical sites.

Position Summary

The primary role of the Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator for ImagingWorks is to attract and guide applicants through the entire enrollment process, ensuring that cohorts are filled with enthusiastic and qualified candidates eager to explore opportunities in the medical imaging field. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily outreach and recruitment efforts for the ImagingWorks program.
  • Facilitating the assessment and enrollment process, which includes conducting interviews, organizing information sessions, and verifying applicant qualifications.
  • Collaborating with local AJCCs for co-enrollment initiatives.
  • Working alongside ImagingWorks and JVSWorks staff to implement recruitment strategies, including participation in job fairs and targeted outreach for specific populations.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies, utilizing various platforms for outreach.
  • Updating program information on the JVS website and creating marketing materials such as flyers and brochures.
  • Identifying and nurturing partnerships with community organizations and educational institutions for referral opportunities.
  • Ensuring accurate data collection and reporting for stakeholders using CRM tools.
  • Providing support for other JVSWorks programs as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • May have experience with CRM systems.
  • May have a background in Human Resources, social work, or related fields.
  • Possesses knowledge of community resources and employment training programs.

Education and Experience

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma and relevant coursework in social work, education, or psychology, along with three or more years of experience in human resources or outreach and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities

The Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator will work collaboratively with JVSWorks staff to achieve program goals, including:

  • Effectively representing the program and its career opportunities.
  • Recruiting and enrolling qualified participants for ImagingWorks.
  • Identifying qualification gaps that may require additional support.
  • Engaging with community partners and employers to enhance application rates.
  • Maintaining high standards for performance metrics related to applications and enrollment.

Physical Requirements

The role requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and work in various settings. Candidates should be prepared for occasional lifting and have reliable transportation for travel as needed.
