Marketing Outreach Coordinator

This role is situated within the Small Business Administration, specifically in the Office of Field Operations. The Marketing Outreach Coordinator is responsible for supervising SBA program grantees and Resource Partners, which includes conducting compliance assessments and site evaluations. This position demands comprehensive planning and strategic decision-making across the full range of Outreach and Marketing Support functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture a local network of collaborative partnerships with economic development professionals across various sectors, including government entities, chambers of commerce, financial institutions, educational organizations, and community groups.
- Act as a representative of the SBA at numerous public events, delivering outreach presentations and training sessions aimed at educating small businesses, lenders, and the contracting community about SBA programs and relevant topics.
- Lead or participate in projects designed to facilitate outreach events, collaborating with team members and resources to ensure successful execution.
- Provide advisory services and training on SBA programs, acting as a field technical representative responsible for compliance oversight of SBA district office clients.
Requirements
Applicants must be U.S. Citizens and successfully complete a background investigation. A valid Driver's License is required.
Qualifications
To qualify for the GS-12 level, candidates must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service, which includes:
- Formulating marketing strategies for program growth and customer base development.
- Creating and delivering outreach, training, and educational presentations on business management, financial management, or lending topics pertinent to small businesses.
- Building and managing partnerships with diverse business development stakeholders.

This position is part of a bargaining unit and is not designated as a drug testing position.
