Job Title: Wound Care Specialist

Tri-City Healthcare District is seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist to join our team. As a Wound Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with wounds and related skin breakdown.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth wound assessments and evaluations
  • Consult with physicians and experts in the field
  • Provide training and education to nursing staff on wound care
  • Act as a clinical resource for wound interpretation and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years direct patient care experience
  • Advanced knowledge in wound evidence-based practices
  • Dependable, with integrity, initiative, and ability to work on details

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven record of accomplishment in wound care
  • Documented competency in wound care assessment and dressings
  • Documented competency in negative pressure therapy
