Overview of the Role
The Chief Operating Office (COO) teams that support banking and markets are structured around specific business lines as well as centralized functions. These teams are committed to comprehending the intricate nature of our operations and ensuring that they function effectively to achieve our strategic objectives.
As a summer analyst, you will engage in a range of new initiatives, projects, and routine business activities. Your development is our priority, with comprehensive formal training provided at the beginning of the program, alongside continuous on-the-job support, educational speaker sessions, and mentorship throughout your tenure. Your primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while being effective both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Creating and maintaining complex data spreadsheets.
- Collecting and reviewing documentation, including deal files and other legally mandated records.
- Conducting various analyses, such as operational loss assessments and reporting gap evaluations.
- Engaging in communication and collaboration with team members.
Candidate Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or a direct Master's degree from an accredited institution, with an expected graduation timeframe between December 2025 and June 2026.
- Demonstrated excellence in extracurricular and professional endeavors.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
- Possess a strong combination of quantitative and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required.
- Exhibit strategic and innovative thinking, along with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Showcase assertiveness, initiative, leadership capabilities, a strong work ethic, and a focus on teamwork.
- Ability to quickly adapt and take on new responsibilities.
