Summer Analyst Position

Manatt Health invites you to participate in our Summer Analyst Program, a 10-week opportunity to work alongside our nationally recognized healthcare strategy and policy consulting team.
As a participant, you will attend a kickoff orientation, where you will learn about our culture and clients, and receive formal skill development and content training.
You will also participate in our mentor program, informal coaching, and feedback sessions to develop your analytical and communication skills.
Throughout the program, you will work on a range of healthcare consulting projects for clients passionate about improving healthcare.
You will have the opportunity to work on project teams, gain hands-on experience, and engage with industry leaders.
Our Summer Analyst Program is designed to identify candidates for consultant roles upon graduation from their academic programs.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Summer Analyst, you will work with a team of passionate and driven professionals on the development of business strategy and policy recommendations for our clients.
You will work with Manatt Health's diverse clients, which include state Medicaid agencies, health plans, academic medical centers, and health systems, digital health companies, and pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.
You will contribute toward the development of high-impact strategies to advance our clients' policy and business objectives, conduct qualitative and quantitative research on healthcare business and policy issues, and develop, design, and deliver presentations.
You will also monitor federal and state healthcare policy trends and track emerging healthcare market trends.
QualificationsYou must have a passion for working in healthcare and be a graduate student pursuing an advanced degree with a focus on public health, business administration, public administration, public policy, healthcare administration, or healthcare management, or other related areas, with an anticipated graduation date in winter 2025/spring 2026.
Preferably, you will have two or more years of relevant work experience, internships, and relevant lived experience, with a demonstrated interest in and enthusiasm for business and marketplace issues, healthcare equity, and other healthcare trends.
You will also have excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings and media.
An ability to work independently and on teams on meaningful projects that can bring about real change is essential.
Strong computer skills, including professional proficiency with Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, are also required.
Modeling skills with the ability to develop financial models and complete complex data analysis are a plus.
CompensationOur 2025 summer analyst salary is expected to range from $2,500.00 to $3,000.00 per week, based on relevant experience and advanced degrees.
This amount is subject to change at the Firm's sole discretion.
