Job Overview:

Holt Group Inc is in search of a dedicated On-Highway Truck Parts Sales Specialist. This role involves engaging with customers in a professional and supportive manner to enhance relationships while ensuring the precise and efficient handling of all parts transactions. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong collaborative and persuasive skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and uphold HOLT's Values-Based Leadership (VBL) principles to align with our organizational Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Facilitate the sale of CAT parts to clients through various communication channels including phone, fax, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Process all parts transactions for both internal and external clients accurately and promptly to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in all sales initiatives organized by HOLT and the dealership manufacturer aimed at boosting sales through incentives and achieving set targets.
  • Maintain up-to-date product information systems and ensure new product details are incorporated.
  • Provide assistance to customers by being available for after-hours calls on a rotational basis.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both on the phone and in person.
  • Proficiency in computer usage; experience with computerized parts management systems is highly preferred.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Consistent attendance and strong work performance.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to completing tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all company policies and standards.
  • Willingness to undertake additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in customer service is required; experience in a parts store is highly desirable.
  • Possession of a GED or High School diploma.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Capability to obtain forklift certification.
Physical Demands:
  • This position requires extended periods of standing or sitting, with occasional movement within the office to access equipment and files.
  • Frequent communication with others is essential, necessitating the ability to convey accurate information.
  • Regular use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and fax machines is expected.
  • Occasional lifting of materials or equipment weighing up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
  • This role is typically performed in a professional office setting.
  • Work often occurs at a rapid pace with unexpected interruptions.
