  • Refuel trucks at the end of each shift.
  • Plan routes efficiently to maximize daily productivity.
  • Verify information on the IAA Tow App for accuracy, including payment methods and required documents.
  • Confirm title information during title pickups and communicate any discrepancies to the IAA Dispatch Team.
  • Complete all assigned towing jobs by the due date.
  • Record and file information on vehicles checked into the facility.
  • Detail vehicles to enhance their appearance and value at auction.
  • Recover keys, license plates, and other items from vehicles and store them appropriately.
  • Train to operate a front-end loader for moving vehicles and equipment.
  • Load and unload trucks during vehicle deliveries or pickups.
  • Ensure all equipment is functional through routine inspections and basic maintenance.
  • Manage lot inventory of vehicles and parts.
  • Document vehicle information and perform light maintenance in preparation for sale.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by reporting any policy violations immediately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.

Required Skills:

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Valid medical card.
  • Minimum of 1 year of towing or transport experience.
  • Willingness to work 12-14 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays (this role is eligible for overtime).

Competencies:

  • Attention to detail and careful driving.
  • Route planning and efficiency skills.
  • Ability to navigate hazards and obstructions.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • General mechanical knowledge of trucks and automobiles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
