About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Operations Manager to join our team at Bruckner Truck & Equipment. As a key member of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of our inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Oversee all stock orders, emergency orders, and special orders, including expediting all back orders.
  • Inventory Control: Control inventory levels and obsolescence levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Physical Inventory: Oversee physical inventory from preparation to completion, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and review monthly inventory reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop parts personnel, including outside and counter salespersons, parts clerks, shipping and receiving clerks, and parts runners.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all parts equipment is properly maintained and functioning correctly.
  • Interdepartmental Relations: Meet regularly with Sales and Operations Managers to evaluate and maintain interdepartmental relations, addressing concerns and integrating plans to maximize dealership performance and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum high school diploma required; degree or college credits toward management or business preferred.
  • Experience: One year or more experience in the operation of an auto, truck, equipment, or industrial parts department; at least one year experience in the operation of a computerized inventory control system.
