Position Overview

Thermo King Northeast is seeking a dedicated full-time Refrigeration Systems Technician. As the leading dealer and service center for Thermo King in the Northeast, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and service inspections on a range of transport refrigeration units (TRU) and auxiliary power units (APU).
  • Perform diagnostics and repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, auxiliary power units, and heating systems.
  • Adhere to established technical and administrative procedures.
  • Complete repair orders and document parts usage accurately.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience in the transport refrigeration sector, particularly with Thermo King or Carrier Transicold equipment.
  • Skills to effectively install, diagnose, and repair refrigeration systems.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in computer operations and usage.
  • A willingness to obtain EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications is highly desirable.
