Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

As the Retail Store Leader, you will oversee the daily operations of the GNC retail outlet, collaborating closely with the District Manager.

Your leadership will be crucial in driving the store's financial performance, fostering a positive work atmosphere, and nurturing the development of your team members. You will be expected to demonstrate GNC brand loyalty, deliver exceptional customer service, and boost sales.

The ideal candidate will possess the capability to impart advanced product knowledge and promote GNC's "Live Well" philosophy.


Essential Qualities:
  • A Retail Store Leader who enjoys engaging with customers and is dedicated to assisting them in selecting the right products, making informed recommendations based on their needs.
  • A strong commitment to GNC's Vision and Values.
  • The ability to meet and surpass personal sales and productivity targets while guiding sales associates to achieve their potential.
  • Excellent team-building, leadership, and managerial skills, including providing ongoing feedback to associates about their performance, recruitment, hiring, and performance management.
  • Capability to learn about new product trends, features, advantages, and benefits, along with training associates on product knowledge.
  • Management of store operations, including cash handling, inventory counts, and deposits in line with GNC procedures.
  • Responsibility for ordering merchandise and supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels, adhering to GNC guidelines to maximize sales and maintain store aesthetics.
  • Verification of merchandise deliveries to the store.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate completion of omni-channel orders in compliance with company standards.
  • Full comprehension of all store communications, including product information, advertising, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Ability to multitask, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Collaboration with Loss Prevention to ensure compliance with GNC's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail sales and store management experience in a specialty retail environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong communication and team-building skills.
  • Adherence to all store operations policies.
  • Ability to manage work schedules within established budgets for optimal store coverage.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including holidays and weekends.
