A Day in the Life of a Batteries Plus Bulbs Retail Sales Representative

Expect a vibrant work atmosphere where you will interact with a diverse range of customers - from individual consumers to large enterprises requiring comprehensive lighting and mobile power solutions. As a key representative of the store, you will warmly greet customers (both in-person and over the phone), provide assistance, maintain a tidy and professional appearance (for yourself and the store), and follow all safety protocols related to batteries and bulbs. Be prepared for an active role that involves movement throughout the store - from processing sales at the cash register to organizing product displays and more.

Job Qualifications

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies

- Capability to make informed decisions within company policies and guidelines

- Strong communication skills

- Enthusiasm for solving basic mathematical problems

- Analytical mindset

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

- Familiarity with common hand and power tools for battery installations

- Good hand-eye coordination (essential for disassembling and reassembling small electronics)

- Independent thinker and collaborative team player

- Friendly and approachable demeanor

- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly

We provide in-store training, uniform reimbursement, monthly sales incentives based on performance, holiday pay, and paid time off after the training period. Schedules are provided in advance.

Availability for various shifts is required. Currently, the store operates Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 6 PM and is closed on Sundays. Hours may be subject to change.

Location, education status, and seeking status must be selected.
