We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to join our team at Heart of Hospice in Jackson, MS. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development through strategic planning, sales, and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire, Direct, Train, and Supervise Sales Team
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve business growth goals and objectives.
Coach Employees to Overcome Objections and Collaborate on Growth GoalsProvide guidance and support to sales team members to help them overcome obstacles and work collaboratively towards achieving business growth goals.
Maintain Comprehensive Knowledge of Community Resources and Provide In-Services and Education to Sales TeamStay up-to-date on community resources and provide training and education to the sales team to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to effectively promote our services.
Communicate with Physicians, Nurses, and Other Healthcare ProfessionalsBuild and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals to promote our services and support the growth of our business.
Establish and Maintain Positive Working Relationships with Referral Sources, Patients, Families, Healthcare Professionals, and the CommunityFoster strong relationships with referral sources, patients, families, healthcare professionals, and the community to promote our services and support the growth of our business.
Assist Director of Admissions in Overseeing Referral to Admissions ProcessWork closely with the Director of Admissions to ensure a smooth referral to admissions process and support the growth of our business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Related Field
Pursuing a degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
At Least Three Years' Experience in Healthcare SalesMinimum three years of experience in healthcare sales is required.
Knowledge of Hospice CarePrior knowledge of hospice care is preferred.
