Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to serve as the strategic business leader for area growth, overseeing the development and execution of action-oriented area strategies. This role requires a strong understanding of the electrical construction and residential markets, as well as the ability to build organizational capability across the area sales teams.

  • Develop and execute area strategies to drive profitable growth and success through focused initiatives, addressing market requirements, key customers, competitive threats, and new technologies.
  • Lead the development of sales tools and ensure their effective utilization across the sales team to serve current and future customers.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of the team and functions, recommending opportunities for change in sales force structure, assignments, and selling activities to produce maximum, profitable volume while achieving a best cost to sales ratio.
  • Establish area best practices focused on new market penetration with customers that differentiate Crescent Electric in the industry based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with all sales organizations within Crescent Electric to facilitate mutual growth across product, service, and solutions offerings, strategic initiatives, and national accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration with a marketing emphasis, or commensurate experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience, with 1 year in field sales management and direct sales team leadership.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with a contemporary understanding of electrical construction and residential markets.
