Job Title: Front Desk Agent

At Biltmore, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming check-in and check-out experiences for guests.
  • Offer concierge services, including making reservations and providing recommendations for local attractions.
  • Manage guest service recovery issues and resolve any concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with shift close-out and reporting, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide general assistance and support to the department, leadership, and company.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training preferred.
  • At least one year of related guest service or hospitality experience, preferably in a comparable upscale hotel environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to delivering world-class internal and external guest service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes, including Biltmore's reservations and property management systems.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests.
