Job Summary

The City of Atlanta seeks a highly skilled HRIS Analyst Sr. to provide expert-level support for the Human Capital Management system. As a key member of the Department of Human Resources, this individual will serve as a point of contact for departments, providing hands-on functional support, consultation, implementation, and maintenance of core functions within the system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the Human Capital Management system, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of application errors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, offering input on system implications and approaches for meeting business needs.
  • Define HR's business requirements and serve as HR representative for the implementation of application functionality.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, guidelines, and documentation on new processes and applications.
  • Deliver end-user training and develop ad-hoc reports in response to incoming requests.
  • Maintain application security and regularly audit access to ensure appropriate levels of access are maintained.
  • Stay current with technology trends in HRIS delivery and apply that knowledge to streamline HR processes and service delivery.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel (advanced user).
  • Exceptionally strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and exercise effective judgment and sensitivity to changing needs and situations.
  • Self-starter with highest integrity and respect for confidentiality.
