Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Vascular & Interventional Experts. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets patients in a professional and courteous manner, obtaining demographic and billing information to facilitate accurate and timely billing procedures.
  • Photocopies patients' insurance cards, obtains signatures, and performs registration protocol to check patients in.
  • Answers phones in a timely manner, schedules appointments, and reviews provider schedules to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Has a general understanding of medical records and confidentiality protocols to release information as needed.
  • Fully participates in patient-centered healthcare and contributes to a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Customer service experience, telephone skills, and Windows computer skills are essential.
  • Working knowledge of clinical front desk procedures is preferred.

  • Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and business ethics guidelines.
  • Complete job-required training and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Travel to other work locations as required and work at an efficient and productive pace.
