We are seeking a part-time Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at M Health Fairview Rehabilitation Services at Southdale Place in Edina. The successful candidate will perform a variety of duties, including scheduling and rescheduling patients, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Complete scheduling functions, including creating and managing patient schedules
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Produce efficient and accurate schedules and associated reports
- Record and update schedule changes accurately, communicating changes to all involved staff
- Scan pertinent documents into the patient record
- Inform patients of unexpected changes to their scheduled appointments, offering alternative options or rescheduling as needed
- Complete clerical and reception duties, including answering phones, reviewing and routing mail, and taking messages
- Develop and implement office procedures to maintain systems and records
- Order supplies and monitor par levels for the department
- Maintain databases, files, and records according to established procedures
- Preferred vocational/technical training and/or Associate's degree
- 1+ years' experience as a scheduler/administrative assistant in a healthcare setting
M Health Fairview Rehabilitation Services offers a range of services that serve patients across 10 acute-care hospitals, 3 post-acute settings, and 70 outpatient adult and pediatric therapy clinics. Our therapists collaborate with colleagues in all medical settings and offer dozens of specialty programs.
