Position Summary:
KIPP Texas-San Antonio is looking for a dedicated full-time Educational Diagnostician to provide essential diagnostic insights regarding student learning. This role involves collaborating with instructional staff and families to ensure that students with disabilities receive appropriate educational support throughout the KIPP Texas region.

This position is integral to our mission, ensuring that all students are equipped with the necessary tools and supportive environments to thrive academically.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assessment and Data-Driven Decision Making:
    Utilize expertise in data-driven methodologies to assist staff in making informed decisions regarding student needs.
  2. Consultation and Collaboration:
    Engage with school personnel, families, and community organizations to foster effective learning environments.
  3. Professionalism:
    Exhibit essential professional competencies including attendance, punctuality, and adherence to ethical standards.

  1. Intervention and Instructional Support:
    Apply knowledge of intervention strategies to enhance academic, social, and life skills among students.
  2. Leadership:
    Seek opportunities for professional growth and contribute to the ongoing development of effective educational practices.
Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
  • TEA Certification as an Educational Diagnostician.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English-Spanish).
  • A minimum of 2 years of successful teaching experience.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of federal and state Special Education laws.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Additional Requirements:
Reliable transportation is necessary for travel between campuses.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary is determined based on experience, educational background, and expertise. Full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision options, as well as life insurance and disability plans.
