Position Overview:

The role involves the precise installation of cabinetry, panel systems, and trim components.

Work Schedule:

Expected to work an average of 38 – 48 hours weekly, including nights, weekends, and potential travel. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in cabinet installation or at least six months as an Installation Technician Assistant.
  • Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, floor plans, and shop drawings.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record (three points or fewer).
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize checklists effectively.
  • Install cabinets, trim, and custom solid surface products efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure projects are completed within budget.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as per OSHA regulations, and seek assistance when handling heavy materials.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

Technical Skills:
  • Data entry and retrieval from computer systems.
  • Operation of modern office equipment.
  • Proficient use of phone systems.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle for minimal travel.
Sensory Requirements:
  • Ability to engage in calm and friendly conversation.
  • Communicate effectively over the phone.
Work Environment:
  • This position is primarily based on commercial job sites.
  • Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations is common while performing job duties.
