Position Overview:

As a vital member of the Adams Group, you will be tasked with the precise installation of cabinetry, panel systems, and trim components.

Work Schedule:

Typical working hours range from 38 to 48 hours weekly, with the possibility of evening, weekend, and out-of-town assignments as necessary. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in cabinet installation or at least six months as an AG Installation Technician Helper.
  • Proficient in basic mathematics, including addition and subtraction.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
  • Ability to interpret and understand blueprints, floor plans, and shop drawings.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive demeanor.
  • Possess a clean driving record with three or fewer points.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize checklists effectively.
  • Install cabinets, trim, and custom solid surface products efficiently while prioritizing quality.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure cost-efficient project completion.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as per OSHA standards, and seek assistance when handling heavy materials.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle objects or controls, communicate verbally, and reach, bend, and stoop.
  • Capability to lift items weighing over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to work under pressure, managing interruptions and deadlines.
  • Direct, prioritize, and organize personal workload.
  • Process verbal information and input it into the computer system.
  • Follow complex instructions accurately.

Technical Skills:
  • Enter and retrieve data from computer systems.
  • Operate modern office machinery.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively.
  • Drive a motor vehicle for minimal travel requirements.
Sensory Requirements:
  • Communicate in a calm and friendly manner.
  • Engage in telephone communication effectively.
Working Environment:
  • This position operates primarily on commercial job sites.
  • While performing job duties, team members may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations.
