Position Overview:

The Cabinet Installer is responsible for the precise installation of cabinetry, panel systems, and finishing trim. This role demands a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail to ensure customer satisfaction.

Work Schedule:

Typical work hours range from 38 to 48 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and potential travel for out-of-town projects. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one year of experience in cabinet installation or at least six months as an Installation Technician Helper.
  • Proficient in basic math skills, including addition and subtraction.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to interpret and understand blueprints, floor plans, and shop drawings.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive outlook.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, having three or fewer points.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize checklists effectively to ensure all tasks are completed.
  • Install cabinets, trim, and custom solid surface products efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage time effectively to complete projects within budget constraints.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as per OSHA guidelines, and seek assistance when handling heavy materials.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical and Mental Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, walk, and use hands for handling objects or controls. Candidates must be able to lift over 50 pounds and possess specific vision capabilities, including close and distance vision.

Essential Mental Skills:
