Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Service Representative to join our team at Lenox Hill Radiology. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Scheduling: Greet and register patients in a friendly and service-oriented manner, obtain or verify proper insurance and patient information, and collect signatures and ensure accuracy and completion of necessary documentation.
  • Phone and Email Management: Answer and transfer incoming phone calls, and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordination and Communication: Schedule, reschedule or cancel new or current patients, confirm appointments and notify staff of changes when necessary, and coordinate with the back-office staff for timely and effective care of patients.
  • Patient Orientation and Safety: Give patients appropriate orientation for preparatory and safety protocols, and provide directions to facilities if needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, intermediate to advanced computer skills, and experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Skills and Qualities: Strong multitasking and communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a genuine passion for customer service.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $25.00, a dynamic and team-focused work environment, and opportunities for advancement and professional growth.

Shift: Mornings, Tuesday - Friday 10:30am-7:00pm, and Saturday 7:30am-4pm.
