Key Responsibilities:

Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining systems hardware and software
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
Monitor and maintain system and database backups
Support Windows and Linux server environments
Configure and maintain VMware infrastructure
Collaborate with the helpdesk team to provide support for complex issues
Work with third-party vendors to troubleshoot existing software and configure new software
Support and maintain current IT infrastructure

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2, 2012, or 2012 R2, RHEL or CentOS, AD/DNS, DHCP, and SMB/CIFS, VMware vSphere virtual environments, Office365 or Exchange, Lync, and SharePoint on-premise solutions, and basic networking concepts, including firewalls and load balancers.

Preferred Skills:

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Windows and Linux operating system environments, VMware vSphere virtual infrastructures, Microsoft SQL Server, Cisco UCS server hardware, and AD/DNS, DHCP, and SMB/CIFS. Additionally, experience with Office365 implementation and monitoring and reporting applications, such as SolarWinds or Microsoft SCOM, is desirable.

Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced office environment, handle a large volume of work, and perform multiple tasks. The candidate must also be able to travel up to 20% and work flexible hours, including on-call rotation, evenings, holidays, and weekends.
