Job Description

Chena Power, LLC is seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to manage and scrutinize financial documentation for our organization. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather essential financial information for accounting purposes
  • Calculate and document numerical data with precision
  • Verify the correctness of financial transactions
  • Execute high-volume data entry and administrative tasks efficiently

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in accounting, finance, or related fields
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Understanding of double-entry accounting principles
  • Exceptional organizational abilities
  • High level of accuracy in a fast-paced work environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on meeting deadlines
  • Basic proficiency in Excel and Word applications
  • Familiarity with Peach Tree or Sage accounting software
  • Efficient in ten-key data entry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable functions

Compensation is dependent on experience. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
