Role Summary

The Aerospace Product Engineering Manager will spearhead the Product Engineering division, focusing on the innovation and design of cutting-edge aerospace aftermarket components. This role involves close collaboration with both internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers specializing in product definition, engine systems, testing, structures, and aerothermal engineering.
  • Oversee the design and development of selected aerospace hot section components.
  • Establish and maintain a robust vendor network for manufacturing and supply chain needs.
Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Experience and Skills:

  • 12+ years of expertise in advanced aerospace hot section airfoil design, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience within the aerospace sector or a related manufacturing/repair environment.
  • 8+ years of leadership or project management experience.
  • Proven knowledge of jet engine materials and processing.
  • Familiarity with jet engine airfoil component design and functionality.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T), and industrial specifications.
  • Experience collaborating with external supply chains, including advanced casting, machining, and coating vendors.
  • Self-motivated with a strong capacity to manage multiple challenges effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and energetic, with a track record of driving projects to successful completion within deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, capable of working with a diverse workforce.
  • Trustworthy, quick to learn, innovative, and dependable.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
