Aerospace Inspector

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inspector, Aerospace to join our team at Power Systems Mfg., LLC. As an Inspector, Aerospace, you will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on various commercial and military aerospace turbine components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections in accordance with written procedures and established practices
• Document variable or attribute data as required for AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports
• Interface with aerospace engineering to recommend work instruction and/or router improvements
• Generate NCRs in the quality management system
• Review job paperwork to ensure completeness and conformity
• Utilize precision measuring equipment as required
• Operate small cranes to move equipment, parts, and material
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Follow Environmental Health and Safety regulations in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Complete specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria
• Must complete EHS assigned regulatory training for work area as described by PSM's EHS Training Matrix

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of inspection experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• 2+ years of experience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructions
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time-keeping applications
• Must be detail-oriented
