Aerospace Inspector

Power Systems Mfg., LLC is seeking a skilled Aerospace Inspector to join our team. As an Aerospace Inspector, you will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final dimensional, visual, and functional inspections on various commercial and military aerospace turbine components.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Test Components: Perform inspections on various aerospace turbine components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Document Inspection Results: Document inspection results and any defects or issues found during the inspection process.
- Collaborate with Engineering: Collaborate with aerospace engineering teams to develop and implement inspection procedures and work instructions.
- Generate Non-Conformance Reports: Generate non-conformance reports (NCRs) for any defects or issues found during the inspection process.
- Review Job Paperwork: Review job paperwork to ensure completeness and conformity.
- Operate Precision Measuring Equipment: Operate precision measuring equipment to perform inspections.
- Maintain a Clean and Organized Work Area: Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Follow Environmental Health and Safety Regulations: Follow environmental health and safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Education and Training: High School Diploma or GED equivalent and completion of specific on-the-job training towards meeting essential duties and work area performance criteria.
- Experience: 5+ years of inspection experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with 2+ years of experience with interpretation of technical drawings or work instructions.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office programs, SAP, and time-keeping applications, with strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stoop, crouch, bend, kneel, crawl, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, hazards, and physical demands.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear required PPEs for specific tasks performed, such as safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety shoes, etc.
