About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Manager to join our Global Commercial Banking team at Bank of America. As a key member of our Dealer Financial Services team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our client base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, understanding their business needs and providing expert advice on financial solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your knowledge of the market and our product offerings
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver tailored financial solutions to our clients
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and economic conditions to inform your sales strategy
Requirements
  • 7-10 years of experience in commercial dealership sales or sales experience within the dealer captive market
  • Extensive experience in financial analysis and a thorough understanding of dealership financial statements
  • Ability to accurately review and opine on the strength/weaknesses of the client's Income Statement and Balance Sheet reporting
  • Astute ability to assess the current and historical financial condition of a company by analyzing ratios, the asset conversion cycle, and cash flow
  • Expertise in applying sound accounting principles to spreading financial statements and analyzing credit
  • Strong knowledge of relevant technology, tools, and resources to maximize the financial management of the business
  • Ability to bring in partners at the appropriate time to support a sales opportunity
  • Knowledge of industry information and the ability to use data to effectively pre-call plan
  • Desire to sell not only core Treasury and Credit services, but also to drive responsible growth through the successful implementation of a broad array of solutions
Desired Skills
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Existing knowledge of the market preferred
  • Demonstrates flexibility and openness to new ideas and to change; adapts to changing environments, situations, and job responsibilities
  • Negotiates effectively by managing client expectations around deals (overcoming objections)
  • Capitalizes on unexpected events or circumstances and turns them into sales opportunities
  • Identifies and openly shares cross-selling opportunities with partners; influences internal partners/contacts to refer business
