Job Overview

Group SSI, a recognized leader in providing professional services to government entities, is seeking a highly skilled Level III System Administrator. Our organization is committed to delivering exceptional solutions across various sectors, including defense, intelligence, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing network server architectures and propose enhancements tailored to client needs, leveraging extensive experience in both local and wide area network systems.
  • Engage in comprehensive technical planning and project management, ensuring seamless operational support throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Administer and sustain both Windows and Linux RedHat server environments, overseeing team assignments effectively.
  • Utilize a methodical engineering approach to design and implement cloud technologies, collaborating with Risk Management Framework teams to maintain compliance and operational authority.
  • Assist in the development and support of Authority to Operate (ATO) documentation and security protocols.
  • Conduct security assessments and implement corrective measures to safeguard systems against unauthorized access.
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and deployment of hardware and software solutions for secure network environments.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards as outlined by DoD and NIST guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology, Information Assurance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Assurance technologies and environments.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management.
  • Proficient in the functions associated with IAT Level I roles.
  • Hands-on experience with MS SQL, DNS, Windows server and desktop operating systems, server patching, enterprise data storage systems, Active Directory, and Red Hat Linux.
  • Possession of IAT Level III Certification.
