Job Overview

Group SSI, a recognized leader in providing professional services to government entities, is seeking a highly skilled Level III System Administrator. Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and enhance existing network server infrastructures, making informed recommendations that align with client objectives and technical specifications. Expertise in designing and analyzing intricate local and wide area networks is essential.
  • Engage in comprehensive technical planning and project coordination, ensuring seamless maintenance and operational support throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Administer and maintain both Windows and Linux RedHat servers, overseeing team assignments and performance.
  • Utilize a methodical engineering approach to design and implement cloud technologies, collaborating closely with security teams to uphold compliance and operational integrity.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of Authority to Operate (ATO) packages, ensuring all systems meet stringent security protocols.
  • Implement robust security measures across workstations and servers, conducting assessments and initiating upgrades to safeguard against unauthorized access.
  • Contribute to the design, testing, and deployment of hardware and software solutions for secure network environments.
  • Ensure that all deliverables comply with cybersecurity standards as outlined by relevant federal guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess TS/SCI clearance or be eligible for it.
  • Advanced degree (MS/MBA) in Information Technology, Information Assurance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Information Assurance technologies and environments.
  • At least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Proficient in the functions associated with IAT Level I roles.
  • Demonstrated experience with various technologies including MS SQL, Windows server and desktop operating systems, Active Directory, and Red Hat Linux.
  • Certification in IAT Level III is required.
