The Facilities Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency of hotel equipment and tools. This position requires proficiency in at least three technical trades, including electronic systems, mechanical systems, kitchen appliances, refrigeration, and overall building management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance inventory and procure necessary supplies and components as required.
- Safeguard confidential information and ensure the protection of company assets.
- Recognize and respond to the needs of individuals with disabilities, providing necessary assistance.
- Foster positive relationships with both guests and team members.
- Supervise the maintenance, replacement, or repair of resort equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks on an annual, quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
Requirements:
- General Education Degree or vocational training certification in mechanical, plumbing, architectural, or electronic disciplines.
- Two to five years of hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer and engineering applications related to energy management and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to interact with clients with patience and professionalism.
- Strong manual dexterity and capability to manage high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work during nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
