Building Plans Examiner I

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Plans Examiner I to join our team at Tranquil Multi Dynamic Advisory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and inspecting building plans to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Review and inspect building plans to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Conduct site visits to verify compliance with building codes and regulations
- Prepare and submit reports on building code compliance
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve plan review issues
- Stay up-to-date with changes to building codes and regulations
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma
- Five (5) years' experience in construction, design, or inspections of buildings as supervisor or contractor
- Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License and maintenance of a clean driving history
- Possession and maintenance of State of Florida-mandated licensing Requirements
The employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, uneven surfaces, and dust. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
