Sprocket Security is a leading provider of offensive security solutions for enterprises. As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and establishing new business opportunities.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to expand our market presence and make a profound impact on the cybersecurity landscape. You will be responsible for trailblazing new opportunities, mastering persuasion, nurturing the sales pipeline, collaborating with our marketing team, and participating actively in the cybersecurity community.

Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects and identify their needs and challenges.
  • Deliver our compelling value proposition and differentiation points with confidence, demonstrating your extensive knowledge of sales strategies and revenue-building processes.
  • Guide prospects through the sales process, from communication to scoping and quoting, and schedule discovery meetings for our sales representatives and prospects.
  • Work seamlessly with our marketing team on email campaigns, blog/website content, and more, amplifying our market presence.
  • Participate actively in the cybersecurity community by attending events and showcasing your passion for helping others stay secure.
Qualifications
  • You have at least 1 year of sales-related experience and possess a hunter mentality that thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment.
  • You are able to understand technical IT jargon and guide customers toward the perfect cybersecurity solution.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and always seek new opportunities for business growth.
  • You are an effective communicator with clear and concise verbal and written skills, allowing you to captivate audiences and build strong relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cybersecurity software and services is a major advantage.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are a hunter before a farmer.
  • You have experience contributing to business growth and working closely with leadership teams.
  • You are active in the infosec community and strive to help others.
  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree.

Located in Madison, WI, Sprocket Security is ready to take the next step in safeguarding businesses from cyber threats. We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $110,000 based on industry standards and location.
