Federal Sales Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Federal Field Sales Account Manager to join our team at Sterling Computers Corporation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining sales relationships with customers in an assigned territory or Federal Government account.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain sales relationships with customers in an assigned territory or Federal Government account.
- Identify and capture new sales opportunities through phone and email outreach.
- Communicate with customers regularly to identify sales opportunities and potential competition.
- Maintain accurate sales pipeline and actionable 6-month sales forecast.
- Respond to customer requests for quotation and information, questions, and issues via email and phone.
- Develop and maintain relationships with strategic partners and manufacturer account representatives.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity in Salesforce.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in sales, with prior experience in telephone sales desired.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to articulate product solutions to customers.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative, and set and achieve personal and team goals.
- Customer service-oriented mentality, with willingness to go the extra mile to satisfy a customer.
