Job Overview:
As a Fleet Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operational efficiency of our transportation assets. Your expertise will ensure that our fleet is well-maintained and compliant with all regulations, contributing to the overall effectiveness of our logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities:
1. **Administrative Management:**
- Develop and implement a structured work plan to enhance fleet operations.
- Maintain a comprehensive digital inventory of all vehicles, detailing essential identification metrics such as license and fleet numbers, vehicle specifications, and acquisition details.

2. **Vehicle Oversight:**
- Facilitate the commissioning of new vehicles in accordance with organizational policies.
- Prepare necessary documentation for insurance renewals and compliance checks.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess vehicle condition and recommend replacements when necessary.

3. **Service Coordination:**
- Research and identify authorized service providers for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Manage accident investigations involving fleet vehicles, ensuring adherence to established protocols.

4. **Maintenance Programs:**
- Implement a proactive maintenance schedule for all vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure that all vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with safety standards.

5. **Reporting and Compliance:**
- Prepare detailed reports on fleet activities, maintenance schedules, and compliance status.
- Manage fuel procurement and ensure that usage aligns with operational needs.

6. **Training and Development:**
- Coordinate training sessions for drivers to enhance operational safety and efficiency.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- A minimum of three years of experience in fleet management or a related field; or an Associate Degree/Diploma with five years of relevant experience.
