The Senior Marketing Manager - Event Strategist is a pivotal role in driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.

**About the Team**
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

**A Day in the Life**
As a Senior Marketing Manager - Event Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs, leveraging data and metrics to drive improvements. Your expertise in Excel or Tableau will be crucial in manipulating data, creating macros, charts, and pivot tables. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and agency partners to design and execute joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with a global footprint.

**Responsibilities**
• Develop and manage end-to-end plans for in-person events, AWS-hosted, and 3P events.
• Define goals, manage budgets, and develop demand generation strategies for events and field-led event programs.
• Provide detailed ROI reports on events and activities associated with executed programs.
• Utilize exceptional communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders on event intake briefs, plans, and post-event debriefs.

**Requirements**
• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience with Excel or Tableau
• Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

**Estimated Salary**
$106,400 - $185,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
