Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hampton Inn. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and provide room keys and instructions.
  • Guest Services: Answer inquiries about hotel services, registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Room Availability and Guest Accounts: Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts, make, confirm, and cancel reservations as needed.
  • Guest Billing and Payment: Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
  • Mail and Message Handling: Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages, transmit and receive messages using equipment such as telephones, faxes, and switchboards.
  • Hotel Credit Policies: Understand and enforce hotel company credit policies, account for all cash, and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies.
  • Guest Interaction: Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
  • Lead Capacity: In the absence of the Supervisor, take responsibility for assigned employees, assign work, and ensure proper performance.
  • Additional Duties: Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guests, deposit guests' valuables in the hotel safe or safe-deposit box, and order complimentary flowers or champagne for special guests.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 months of experience in hospitality, general office, accounts receivable, or customer service.
