Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome members and guests as they arrive and depart, addressing any inquiries or concerns during their visit.
- Promote our inclusive atmosphere by engaging with members on the fitness floor, providing assistance, and supporting their wellness journeys while adhering to company policies.
- Address member issues and escalate to management when necessary.
- Answer phone calls in a courteous manner, assisting callers with their questions.
- Handle membership-related tasks, including sign-ups, updates to contact or billing information, cancellations, and managing unpaid balances.
- Conduct outreach to potential members and provide tours to assess their membership needs.
- Process retail transactions accurately and strive to meet sales objectives.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all fitness equipment and amenities, including communal areas and personal workspaces.
- Ensure restrooms are kept clean, stocked, and organized according to the cleaning schedule.
- Regularly inspect all areas of the facility, promptly addressing any safety or cleanliness issues.
- Report maintenance concerns, such as broken equipment or facility issues, to management.
Qualifications:
- Preferred experience of 6-12 months in a customer service role.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification (training provided).
- Basic proficiency in computer usage.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move throughout the facility during shifts.
- Frequent communication in person and over the phone.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals during work hours.
- Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
- Flexibility to bend and twist to complete tasks.
