Position Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Configuration Analyst to join our innovative team. In this role, you will engage with leading design experts from various sectors within the aerospace and defense industry.

Your primary focus will be on overseeing product revision control, playing a vital role in the creation, development, and maintenance of documentation traceability efforts across our engineering and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong dedication to monitoring changes to ensure Truth, Trust, and Traceability (T3). A key responsibility will be to guarantee that Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes are effectively integrated and comply with both contractual and internal requirements.

Core responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring and managing the configuration baseline throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Evaluating engineering changes to assess their implications on the product.
  • Tracking, categorizing, and managing manufacturing or engineering changes against established customer baseline standards with minimal oversight.
  • Reviewing and analyzing Technical Data Packages and promptly informing relevant stakeholders of necessary actions.

This role demands a detail-oriented and analytical mindset, with a strong emphasis on documentation and clear communication skills.

Additionally, there will be opportunities to engage in special projects and strategic initiatives across various locations.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent experience combined with 3+ years of Configuration Management (CM) experience.
  • Proven expertise in applying CM-related policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Ability to interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Strong collaboration skills across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Business Acumen.
  • Self-motivation and independence.
  • Effective multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and document management capabilities.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, and/or Confluence.
  • Knowledge of Configuration Management Principles and Applications SAE EIA-649C.
  • Understanding of electronics manufacturing or design.
  • Proficiency in interpreting Engineering Bills of Materials and Manufacturing Bills of Materials.
  • Technical proficiency in interpreting specifications.
  • Previous exposure to defense, aerospace, military, or logistics environments is desirable.
