Position Overview:
Chipton-Ross is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst for a hybrid contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Configuration Analyst will collaborate with top-tier, multi-disciplinary design professionals in a critical role focused on managing product revision control. The Analyst will:
  • Design, develop, and support documentation traceability initiatives across manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Ensure Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) processes are fully implemented and compliant with contractual and internal standards.
  • Track and control the configuration baseline throughout the change management process for assigned product life cycles.
  • Review and analyze proposed engineering changes to assess their impact on products.
  • Maintain accurate logs of manufacturing or engineering changes against accepted customer baselines.
  • Monitor and analyze Technical Data Packages, ensuring key stakeholders are informed of any impacts.

A strong passion for documentation and precise communication is essential in this detail-oriented and analytical role. The Analyst will also contribute to special projects and key initiatives across various sites.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent experience/combined education with 3+ years of Configuration Management (CM) experience.
  • Experience with CM-related policies, procedures, and tools.
  • Ability to interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Proven effectiveness in cross-disciplinary team collaboration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong attention to detail and business acumen.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational and document management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Familiarity with ERP, SharePoint, Windchill, JIRA, and/or Confluence.
  • Understanding of Configuration Management Principles and Applications SAE EIA-649C.
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or design.
  • Technical experience in interpreting specifications.
  • Previous experience in defense, aerospace, military, or logistics environments is a plus.

Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent experience/combined education with 3+ years of Configuration Management (CM) experience. Education must be accredited.

Shift:
4/10-1st Shift.
